The answer to this question is quite simple. Yet, like all things in life, the path to reaching this goal will not be easy. My dream is to become a prominent member of the music industry. I am a passionate lover of music and have been for a long time. Now, the obvious question to ask is why I don't pick up a guitar and try my luck as a musician. Well, I also am fascinated by the business side of the industry. So, the love of live music plus an interest in business equals the concerts/publishing side of the industry. Additionally, I have been fortunate enough to be involved at a local music venue in Cincinnati called Bogart's Music Club, a member of the Live Nation venue group, for the better part of two years now, and every time I show up there during my breaks to help out, my love of music is strengthened. While there, I have been exposed to the various aspects of running a venue, and have even been fortunate enough to shadow the venue's current general manager, Karen Foley and see her day-to-day operations. I believe that this will help me in the future because she does so many things now that are applicable to both the music publishing and concert side of the industry. So, what do I want to do in twenty years? Become a prominent member of this great industry of music.
